Thank you for visiting my website. I published a 2010 'Butterflies of Sussex' calendar for friends and family plus note cards for my wife. Encouraged by the response, I decided to share my images with a wider audience. I am in the process of uploading my stock of images which is a time consuming task so please call back periodically if you are interested in my work. I purchased my first SLR camera in 1983, started underwater photography in 1984 and was published the same year. I learnt the art of photography by competing in Dhahran Camera Club competitions, winning Best of Show and Photographer of the Year trophies in 1986. I was awarded two gold medals and The Best Portfolio Trophy in The Brighton '87 International Festival of Underwater Photography in the UK.
I taught adult education classes in photography and darkroom processing in the 1980s, ran scuba diving classes in Saudi Arabia for 20 years as a PADI instructor until 2008 when we retired to England. I also led many dive tours to the Red Sea, other Arabian Peninsular sites, The Maldives and The Galapagos. My passion is Nature Photography and I have recently turned to butterflies as a prime subject.
